AI may soon extend beyond clinics in Singapore’s healthcare sector. The use of AI-based image-based solutions may enhance the accuracy of mammograms in the detection of breast cancer, while another tool may help predict and prevent falls in hospitals, nursing homes, and at home.
These are just two of six winning solutions from the Healthcare InnoMatch 2022 finals held on 9 September. Healthcare Innomatch will invite small and medium-sized companies to submit healthtech proposals starting in 2021. The Center for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) organizes the event and Temasek Foundation, a non-profit, supports it.
Healthcare InnoMatch winners will test their solutions at partnered healthcare institutions across the country and also receive a combined total of S$2.4 million (US$1.69 million) in funding, reports GovInsider.
