Sanofi/Regeneron teams up with CIFS to define future of severe asthma

As part of a collaboration with the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies, Sanofi and Regeneron will develop the Severe Asthma Index. Asthma policies and approaches in different countries will be examined in the project. As a result, local and global policymakers will be able to take concrete steps to improve asthma care.

The Next Breath, a blog by Sanofi/Regeneron with aim to bring more awareness to severe asthma, places this joint project in the context of World Lungs Day, that was celebrated on the 25th September this year.

In this World Lung Day, partners to the project prioritize ‘Lung Health for All’ by supporting people with severe asthma to better understand their disease, and advocate for access to asthma care that addresses their lung function.
