New report out on future medical innovation

Omnia Health, a US-based global community of some 548,000 healthcare professionals, has published a report on topics related to the future of innovations in health, including AI in healthcare and how the industry is investing in technology. Interviews with industry leaders predict the future of medical innovation in the report.

The future of healthcare is being led by innovative new medical devices and solutions. Leaders from across the Americas met at Florida International Medical Expo (FIME) to discuss what this innovation will look like, and what it means for healthcare organizations. The report was produced by Omnia Health and FIME with support from Medline and provides the following main conclusions:

  • In healthcare, AI is not going to replace anyone, but those who embrace it will be better than those who reject it
  • We invest in healthcare innovation through research, contracts, grants, and clinical trials
  • Local industry growth depends on public-private partnerships
