Due to the rapid growth of this market, leading technology vendors are competing for dominance. According to a KLAS report published last week, Leica Biosystems and Philips are leading this competitive market in digital pathology imaging management systems.
A KLAS survey was conducted among 55 providers – including hospitals, health systems, academic health centers, and reference labs. A total of 33 of these providers have already adopted digital pathology, and the remaining 21 are in the process of implementing plans to do so soon.
