France chooses 14 digital health projects to invest EUR97.9M

Several French ministers, including François Braun, the Minister for Health and Prevention, and Jean-Noël Barrot, the Minister for the Digital Transition and Telecommunications, have presented the 14 winning projects, out of the 198 projects submitted, from the call for “Digital Health” expression of interest. A total of 97.9 million euros has been invested (link in French), including 55.6 million euros in grants. Investing to produce better, live better, and understand better, France 2030 aims to sustainably transform key sectors of our economy through technological and industrial innovation. Developing digital health will be a major challenge in France in the future. In October 2021, as part of France 2030, the state launched the “Digital Health” acceleration strategy with 670 million euros. To anticipate the future and consolidate a rapidly growing industry, various government plans were synergized to come up with this strategy.
