WHINN is the annual two-day conference on life science and health technology held in Odense, Denmark. It is the most significant industry exhibition in the country, with a range of networking activities. CIFS Health presents the research on visions to future healthcare on Friday, October the 11.
An interactive day with CIFS explores trends and uncertainties within the health and life sciences, and the future of clinical trials. The health system is often defined and plagued by complexity, competing agendas, and short-term thinking, thus making it susceptible to disruptions of all kinds. This event explores how futures thinking and methodologies can be applied to the health landscape in order to not only better manage and understand complexity, but also shape more favourable futures.
CIFS futurists with a focus on health aim to inspire and equip participants with tools and concepts for navigating uncertain, yet promising, futures.
During the session, participants will learn about future and foresight tools for improving organizational agility and preparedness. The presentations include:
Applied Strategic Foresight in Healthcare (Futures methodologies course)
Presenters: Bogi Eliasen, Aron Szpisjak & Patrick Henry Gallen
This is an interactive session where futurists will share the tools they use in their everyday work and teach participants how to apply futures thinking and methodologies in their work.
